The California Afterschool Advocacy Alliance (CA3) is the statewide voice for expanded learning (afterschool and summer) programs. Our coalition represents the interests of the children, youth, and their families who rely on publicly funded expanded learning programs throughout California, as well as the vibrant and dynamic workforce that makes these programs so special. Learn more about CA3, including a list of current members.

By participating in CA3, LA’s BEST has been able to expand our capacity to advocate for expanded learning, which has ultimately led to significantly increased resources for our organization. As a direct service provider, it’s so challenging to have the capabilities needed to effectively advocate - CA3 provides expertise, coordination and connects us with other providers and advocates so we can link arms and speak up for children and families in a loud, clear and unified voice.
